New Freedom Initiative Award

Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao and Assistant Secretary Roy Grizzard presented the Department of Labor's first New Freedom Initiative Awards on November 21, 2002. Lift, Inc., along with two other organizations and one individual, were honored for exemplary and innovative public-private partnership efforts in furthering the employment objectives of the President's New Freedom Initiative.
